Ever since political parties were devised, we have defined ourselves by them. We have divided ourselves with them. Generally speaking, Democrats have been identified with protecting workers while Republicans have long been identified as protectors of business/commerce. For at least the past 100 years, the lines between the two major parties has become increasingly blurred.

The Democrats progress with a more and more liberal agenda while the Republicans, as a result of a policy of compromise, has also progressed to the left. Clearly, the Republican party, the party that stood for the Republic, has compromised their principals in favor of politics. The line between the Democrat and Republican parties have become very blurred.

While the federal government has suffered from lower and lower approval ratings, the shear frustration of the broken political process brought Mr. Barack Hussein Obama to power with his campaign of Hope and Change. But almost as soon as Mr. Obama was elected, and he started revealing his 'fundamental transformation of America', the tide quickly started turning against him and the Democrat controlled Senate and House of Representatives.
